This Practice Note is the practical companion to our In-House Brief Supplement on price fluctuation under Saudi law. It is written for Contractors and Subcontractors working under Saudi law on the FIDIC Red Book, 1999 edition.

It sets out what to do about rising costs before contract, during the works and when a claim arises. It covers price adjustment clauses, Articles 97 and 471 of the Civil Transactions Law, the duty to request renegotiation, the price adjustment thresholds for government contracts, and contracts concluded before 16 December 2023.

Download the Practice Note below. You are welcome to share it with colleagues.
